Aims and Scope
“Vanijya” is an annual journal of the Department of Commerce, Dibrugarh University, that intends to bring together meaningful research compilations in varied dimensions of commerce and management. Commerce is a meta discipline comprising of the interplay of various corollary and allied subjects like human resource management, finance, marketing, banking, economics, management and more; and extending its role and contribution to a host of sectors. The journal acknowledges the extensive purview of the discipline and aims to provide a forum where each of these subject areas may be projected in their individual as well as joint significance through scientific and systematic research works.

AUTHORS' GUIDELINES
Call for Papers: Vol.
Online manuscript submission: Online Submission Portal
Following are the guidelines for authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to the Vanijya:
MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION
- The manuscript file must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format
- Text should be typed in 1.5 line spacing with font size 12 in Times New Roman
- The manuscript should not exceed 10,000 words (excluding figures, tables, footnotes, and references)
- Each manuscript must include:
- An abstract of not more than 200 words
- 3-5 keywords
- A separate title page must contain:
- Article title
- Author name(s)
- Author affiliation(s)
- Correspondence address(es)
- Author names should not appear anywhere in the manuscript text to facilitate blind review
REFERENCING STYLE
- References should be typed on a separate page with double spacing
- References should be consecutively numbered at the end of the paper
- For books: Author name(s), book title, publisher, year and place of publication, page number(s)
- For journal articles: Author name(s), article title in quotation marks, journal name, publication details, page number(s)
- The latest APA style referencing (Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association) must be followed
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- A declaration stating that the paper is neither published nor submitted for publication elsewhere
- A similarity report (using any popular plagiarism detection software) - manuscripts with 8% or more similarity will be rejected
- An AI-generated content report - any manuscript containing AI-generated content will be rejected
- Upon acceptance, authors must submit a copyright declaration
REVIEW PROCESS
- The journal uses a double-blind peer review system
- Publication decisions are based on reviewers' recommendations and Editorial Board approval
- Authors will be notified of acceptance/rejection/resubmission requirements after peer review completion
PUBLICATION DETAILS
- Print copies of the journal are available to interested authors for a publication charge
- Manuscripts not complying with these guidelines will be rejected
ETHICAL CONSIDERATIONS
- The Editor, Editorial Advisory Board, and Publisher are not responsible for views expressed by authors or reviewers
- Authors must avoid using communal, casteist, racist, sexist, or other discriminatory language
